Probably my favorite thing about having a blog is the ability to look back and remember things I would otherwise forget. As I was looking through my cell phone pictures the other day, I realized that probably the best way I have of capturing that is through those photos!
So, here we have a photo dump of happenings over the past few months.
I'm going to warn you now that I have WAY too many pictures of my dogs on my phone. Not the best picture, but too sweet not to remember. Zero had just been scolded for chewing something and went to the fence to sulk, and Sophie went over and curled up with him to console him. Sweet pups!
I went to pick up lunch for Jason, his parents and I the other Saturday as we were working on some things around the house. This is our beloved hometown hoagie shop. It was recently rumored that they may be closing soon. On this Saturday, the line was all the way to the back and out the door. I sent this to Jason and told him I was glad we had called our order in. The Hoagie shop is a gem in our hometown and I will be heartbroken if it closes.
We saw this overturned truck the other day. Thankfully no one was hurt when it turned over, but this is proof that I am not crazy when I lean towards the window as I pass a tractor trailer.
I taught EXP again this year (extended day tutoring). It made my days really long, but I had some great successes with some of the kids that made it worth it!
Me trying to decide which color dress to buy, haha!
I went with blue. It think that color is better for my complexion.
Who needs a mirror when you can see what the back of your head looks like with your camera?
Please tell me I'm not the only person who does this?
What did we do before technology?
I go through spurts of wanting to be a runner.
I'm not fast (at all), and this was a short run, but as the quote says:
"You're lapping everybody on the couch!"
A pic I took another time I was downtown, and sent to my sister with a countdown to her June wedding! Her reception is going to be here so I sent her a picture showing the names on the sign! I can't wait until her wedding, I know it will be awesome!
My Sophie girl.
She was asleep like this! Haha!!!
What did I tell you about the pup pictures?
A different puppy! My sister and future brother in law's new boy: Maverick!
I sent this picture to Jason with a message that said:
"Just another hard day at work."
I was working on our costumes for Dr. Suess' birthday at school!
And here is my team of fish on the actual day!
Love these ladies!
The dog's and the "indestructible" Kong.
It's now in tiny pieces.
My turn in the dunking tank at the school festival.
Instead of a normal dunking tank, it had a toilet that dumped water on your head when the kids hit the target. Good times.
Craft times! I made these flags for India's wedding which I posted about earlier.
You are looking at 100 hand-cut and hung flags. Whew!
Jason and I had the opportunity to be Bible study leader's at the youth's Impact Weekend.
It was such a blessing!
We are LOVING our new church, and already feel so at home, involved, and fed there.
We're also going to the week long camp this summer with the youth!
Looking over these pictures makes me smile. It's a pretty good representation of what I love and my life.
